Self sabotaging behaviours are antagonistic to you but surprisingly do not actually originate from you. If I have your attention then you may want to learn how this simple insight can help free you from going down a path of self destruction.

To use a metaphor, would you ever say that just because a computer virus happens to reside on the same hard drive as your operating system that it means the two software programs originate from the same source? Absolutely not!

So in the same way it can also be said that the self sabotaging behaviours do not originate from you, or more accurately from your Life Force Energy. Life Force Energy is essentially the “energy of life”. It is completely oriented towards, and supportive of, life. As I’m sure you can readily discern, self sabotaging behaviours, are against life and hence could not possibly originate from Life Force Energy.

Now there’s likely going to be a great deal of confusion here about this issue because many of you have been conditioned to believe that those “negative” self destructive behaviours not only originate from you but are also part of what it means to be human. That’s like saying that Life Force Energy, an energy that is supposed to support life was somehow designed to at the same time undermine itself.

Doesn’t that sound or “feel” a bit bizarre to you?

If it does then try the following, place one hand over your Heart and as if you are speaking from there say the following:

“Yes it feels and/or sounds bizarre that Life Force Energy would undermine itself.”

Now notice how you feel inside. If you focus on the region around your Heart you may notice some or all of the following: warmth, lightness, relief, peace, calmness, joy, the ability to breathe easier and so on.

If you are having any of the above experiences and you like your experience then simply affirm that to yourself via your Heart and it will only grow stronger.

Now notice how the following “feels” to you:

Those self sabotaging behaviours originate from a foreign and hostile energy parasite that has found its way into your mind and body, and which is attempting to hijack your life and Life Force Energy away from you simply so that it can sustain itself. It has disguised itself through a process by which it makes you think that it is part of you and that it originates from you. Until and unless you begin to recognize it is something foreign you will never get rid of it.

Now notice how you feel inside. In spite of the awfulness of what has just been said some of you may feel strangely and paradoxically more empowered by it. This is because deep down what was said has resonated with a deeply held truth you’ve had about your situation all along. This resonance is re-awakening you to that truth and that in itself is empowering. If you like how that feels again affirm that to yourself.
